Our Story
How it all started
I began working with my dad, Oscar Tucker, during the summer when I was about 13. Dad was a welder, fabricator, heavy equipment operator, and diesel mechanic. He taught me how to fix things, build engines, weld, heat and bend, and operate the equipment we repaired that I now teach. The love of all things metal runs in our family.
I had the privilege of being a firefighter/paramedic in Cobb County and retired in 2010 as Lieutenant. All during my time there I continued metal fabrication. After my wife and I moved our 7 kids to Ball Ground, GA. I discovered I had to go back to Cobb County to buy the materials I needed in my small business to build. We opened in 2018 with the hope that we can help to fix many issues for others that I had to deal with in the metal service.
Bethany Steel Supply and Fabrication is named in honor of the last place Jesus was with his disciples.
